first edition, rare, illustrated with a frontispiece and 28 boards, most with 2 or 3 figures.
Half-blond half-timbered binder with small corners. Smooth back decorated with 3 caissons to the grotesque and 2 irons. Title piece in red morocco. Tail cap partly torn on 2.5 cm along the upper joint, idem along the lower joint but on 1cm. The boards were connected in fine and not the place stipulated by the printer.
Practical handbook for various types of fishing. 4 parts divide the book: The first deals with everything that relates to angling, the second is culinary and features a discourse on fish and the art of seasoning them, the third is the art of Net fishing, the fourth offers a treaty of ponds, fishponds, reservoirs. The set is composed of short practical and detailed chapters. The index contains a lexicon of fish names in several languages.
