First edition, illustrated with a portrait of the author in lithography frontispiece. Half shagreen emerald mid nineteenth century. Back to nerves decorated with nets. Smear on spine and edges. Good practices. the work is a sequel to Trials of Poullain Paris Saint-Foix published nearly half a century earlier. It was given by the nephew of Poullain St. Foix. Along the same lines, it is a walk in the streets of Paris which thus serves as guiding thread to tell anecdotes and draw portraits of historical figures.
