First edition illustrated. A title vignette, a frontispiece and three pretty faces before the letter. The title vignette is signed by Bernard Picard. Title page in red and red morocco noir.Demi wedge signed late nineteenth-Dubois D'Enghien. Back tooled raised. Gilt title, date tail. Double mesh divider on the boards. Gilt edges. Very nice copy, well established, and perfectly fraîcheur.L'oeuvre is an imitation of the Greek novel The Romance of Rhodanthe and spineiclés Eustathius Macrembolite; it is the story of thwarted love in ancient Greece. --- Please note that the translation in english is done automatically, we apologize if the formulas are inaccurate.
