First edition due to the Abbot Joly, illustrated with 4 bands of title by Chauveau repeated and historiated initials. Brand of the printer on the title page. Translation Lombert.
Binding in full brown sheepskin period. Back ornate nerves. As an exhibit in red morocco. A tear in mind. Delicate head cover; idem tail with a slit weakening the cap.
In addition to the various letters and treatises written by St. Cyprian, a long critical biography was written by Abbot Joly.
