First Edition printed in small numbers at the expense of the author and never put on the market, it was not drawn large papers.
It is a set of printed proofs, with dumb covers, which the author distributed to his friends.
As the Axis forces no longer had the wind in their sails, Jacques Chardonne tried to recover most of the exemptions he had offered in order to destroy them.
A small lack of paper at the foot of the first flat of the blanket, two rips glued in the head and foot of the back, otherwise nice copy of the mediocre quality of this paper war.
