Half brown morocco over marbled paper boards by Goy & Vilaine, spine in six compartments, gilt date to foot, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, fragile parchment-effect covers preserved (with discreet and skillful repairs), top edge gilt. Contributions from Victor Hugo, Stéphane Mallarmé, Charles Cros, Frédéric Mistral, Paul Arène, Théodore de Banville, Léon Cladel, Jules Claretie, François Coppée, Léon Dierx, Anatole France, Albert Glatigny, José-Maria de Heredia, Arsène Houssaye, Jules Janin, Sébastien-Charles Leconte de Lisle, Catulle Mendès, Albert Mérat, Sully Prudhomme, among others.
