Smooth back the Grotesque. The work is a novel adaptation of the seven sages of Rome. The reference refers to Italian translation of The compassionevoli Avvenimenti Erasto (1542), imitation narrative; many European countries gave themselves a version such as Spain and England. The story of the Seven Wise Men of oral tradition, Its origin is complex, and some speak of an Arab origin whose book Sinbad is the model; the west knew this story by the Latin text at the beginning of the twelfth by Jehans Dam. The son of the Emperor Diocletian is called, after being taught by seven sages, at the bedside of his dying father. Her stepmother, the queen, falls in love and accuses him of rape.
