New edition revised, corrected and enlarged several pieces, and all similar to the edition of the Royal Printing (in-4 in 4 volumes published in 1757). An engraved portrait frontispiece of the author by Vander Schley. Full brown sheepskin time. Back with five nerves and small boxes decorated with golden floral irons. Parts of title and volume number of red morocco. All red edges. The first and fourth volumes have gaps in the back with missing caps, two threadbare caps, worm holes, corners bumped. Some very tiny to work in some volumes, not affect the text. Edition brings together the plays, correspondence, and some poetic pieces. Destouches wrote his first lyrics at the instigation of Boileau and produced his first play in Switzerland.
