Rare and precious signed autograph inscription by the composer: “à mon ami Seligmann - Hector Berlioz” ("to my friend Seligmann - Hector Berlioz") Hippolyte-Prosper Seligmann (1817-1882), cellist and composer, was an active member of the Philharmonic Society founded by Berlioz in 1849.
